Dominic Lucas, BSc (Hons) Agriculture student, has received the Cargill Agriculture Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Dominic, 20, from Gloucester, Gloucestershire said: “I’m extremely happy to have received this scholarship. I hope I’ll learn a lot about the poultry industry and gain good husbandry skills whilst on placement.
“I’d like my placement to progress into a long term career with Cargill, gaining experience in many different areas within the company.
“I’d like to thank my sponsor for this unique opportunity to work within the poultry industry and with one of the leading companies in this sector, I’m extremely grateful.
“In the future I’d like a successful career in the poultry industry, learning and gaining knowledge where I can and eventually be able to manage numerous poultry units to a high standard.”
